EWMM Global Voice: The following is an interview on Nina Stevens, English with Mary Moore International’s PR Manager, Executive Assistant, and Senior Teacher
EwMMI Global Voice: Please introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background.
Nina: Hi, I’m Nina. I’ve been a teacher at EeMM for over 3 years now. Before starting to work at this English Institute I was a copy writer/junior editor/contributor for various magazines and online websites. I’ve done many different things, but throughout the years I’ve always had a hand in teaching.
EwMMI Global Voice: What are your hobbies and interests?
Nina: I’m not much of an outdoor person. I prefer to be at home, reading a good book, or watching one of my favorite TV shows. I enjoy cooking, but that’s because I mostly enjoy eating, ha! I also love learning about different cultures, food, and meeting interesting people.
EwMM Global Voice: Describe to us your experience so far working here at English with Mary Moore.
Nina: Working at EwMM has given me an experience I would not be able to get elsewhere. I have taught before in some other institutes, but the community and support that you get here is not the same elsewhere. I really enjoy classes with all my students, and some of them have been with me ever since I started. I find it interesting to know about them, and that I can help make a difference in their lives through English. Before teaching here I never thought that teaching a language really meant anything. But now I can see that we don’t just teach, we also help instruct and guide people on their way to excellence, and this is something very fulfilling.
EwMM Global Voice: Thanks for taking your time to let us know about you, we hope you’ll continue to be working here with us.
Nina: Thank you as well! I think I will definitely be around for longer .
